Sandra Hulen, 88, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 in Mountain Home, AR.
Sandra was born on November 1, 1934 in Madisonville, KY to Richard and Margaret Shelton Tipton.
She grew up in Evansville, IN and later moved to the St. Louis, MO area. In her early 30's she became a young widow with 7 children and met her lifelong marriage partner Robert Hulen. Along with his 2 children from a previous marriage, they became a blended family with 9 children.
She is remembered as a beautiful, magnetic woman with a passion for spiritual wisdom. Sandra was a strong and loving wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and good friend to so many.
Her warm smile, soft hands and gentle spirit extended out to the world, often in prayer. Her acceptance of others combined with unfailing faith in God’s loving desire to create miracles in people’s lives was truly inspirational.
Sandra is survived by two sons, David (Anne) Smith, Daniel (Kimberly) Hulen; daughters Jennifer Alleavitch of Norfork, AR, Cinda (Lowell) Krieg, Lynn (George) Schieni; brother Richard Steve (Alma) Tipton; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren
She is preceded in death by husband, Robert Wayne Hulen; four sons, Steve Lawhead, Mark Lawhead, Steve Hulen, Gregory Keith Hulen; daughter in law, Kerri Hulen; sister, Shirley Wells, twin sister, Tina Sue Flick; mother, Margaret Elisabeth Tipton; father, Richard Marion Tipton.
Memorial for Sandra will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services – Mountain Home, AR.
