Sandra Laura King, of the Mountain Home, peacefully passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 83, with her family by her side. Born on March 2, 1942, in Lansing, Michigan, Sandra was the daughter of Rollin and Thelma Potter Pennell. She was united in marriage with Wilburn Ray King on July 1, 1960.
In 1970, Sandra embraced a new chapter of her life when she moved from Lansing to Arkansas, where she continued to make a positive impact on those around her. A devoted member of the Jehovah's Witness faith, she found great joy in reading and sharing her knowledge of the Bible. Her unwavering commitment as a Pioneer Minister for 44 years reflected her deep spiritual devotion and desire to help others.
Sandra’s legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by her son, Rollin (Diana) King; two daughters, Deborah Ann Conrad and Katie LaFleur; a brother, Martin Pennell; along with nine grandchildren-Heather, Joshua, Brittany, Anthony, John, Jeremy, Jill, Jessica, and Jennifer-and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who will carry her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rollin and Thelma Pennell; her husband, Wilburn Ray King; grandson, Jedidiah Michael; and her dear sister, Patricia Caswell and Georgia Sherwood.
The family encourages those wishing to honor Sandra's memory to consider making memorial contributions to the Mountain Home South Congregation of Jehovah's Witness.
Sandra’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will forever inspire those who knew her.
