Sandra Kay Raby, 72, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on October 4, 2021. She was born on September 22, 1949 in Harrisburg, Arkansas to Genoa Robert and Gertrude Ann Raby. She was a strong Christian and student of the word of God. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but most of all children, being a parent and grandparent gave her so much joy. She was active in Geneaology, Square Dancing and Puzzling. She had a love of Poetry and was a creative published writer.

Survivors include: two daughters: CindyTaylor of Lake Dallas, Texas and Sonya Mize of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one son: James Carl Taylor, II of Taylorsville, North Carolina; one spoiled little spaniel pup, Missy Ann Raby; one god daughter: Bridget Allen of Garland Texas; five grandchildren: Elise, Jared, and Lannae Mize and Alysa and Anna Marie Taylor; one great-grandson: Sebastian Long; eight sisters: Shirley Peifer (Fred) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Barbara Spradling (Cliff) of Harrisburg, Arkansas; Linda Moore of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Mary Costner (Glen) of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Pat Raby of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Peggy Hively of Calico Rock, Arkansas, Martha Easter (Tim) of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Candy Godwin (Randy) of Mountain View, Arkansas, and Paulette Schmidt (Ed Shipman) of Norman, Oklahoma; four brothers: Robert Raby of West Memphis, Arkansas, Kenny Raby of Trumann, Arkansas; Bobby Joe Raby (Loweeta) of Louisville, Kentucky, and Ronnie Raby of Louisville, Kentucky; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by; her parents: Genoa and Gertrude Raby; her step-mother: Sudie Raby; and two brothers: Frank Raby and Ricky Conrad.

Pallbearers: Jared Mize, Jon King, Roger Woods, Randy Godwin, Perry Davis; and Bradley Bosze. One honorary pallbearer: Fred Peifer.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 1:30 at Central Baptist church in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Pastor Larry Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at the Waldenburg Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until service time.
