Sarah Van Meter

Sarah Elizabeth Van Meter was born August 4, 1929 in Humboldt, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Floyd H. and Mary V. Turpen Osborne. She married Winton O. Van Meter on May 12, 1994 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was a retired secretary and lived in Paris, Indiana before moving to the Mountain Home area in 1982. She loved crafting and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Sarah Elizabeth Van Meter passed away on August 4, 2005 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 76 years. Survivors: One daughter, Barbara Gavach; two brothers, Billy Wayne Osborne and Willie Lee Osborne; two grandsons, Roger Gavach and James Gavach; and two sisters, Betty Mayfield and Francis Harber Preceded in Death by: Her parents and husband Funeral: A memorial service will be held at a later date.
