Saundra Sue Miller

A Funeral Service for Saundra "Sonnie" Miller of Henderson, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, October 12, 2012, at Henderson Baptist Church, with Reverend Van Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Sonnie passed away October 9, 2012, in Henderson, Arkansas at the age of 74. She was born March 28, 1938, in Hoopston, Illinois the daughter of Willard and Marie Bird Gocking. She married Phillip Miller on October 30, 1959, at Beaumont, Texas. Sonnie lived in Henderson, Arkansas since 1968 moving from Vidor, Texas. She was a member of the Henderson Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, traveling, camping and the river. Sonnie is survived by her husband, Phillip Miller; son, Mark Miller of Flippin, AR; daughter, Teri Lynn Sullins of Henderson, AR and 2 sisters, Marjorie Burr of Vidor, TX, Barbara Milligan of Vidor, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 son, Scott Miller. Burial will be in the Custer-Herron Cemetery, Henderson, AR, with Terry Johnson, Jay Milhon, Billy Bryant, Jim Brockman, Paul Martin, and Billy Nichols as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Henderson Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
