Sharon died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Baxter Regional Medical Center, at the age of 68. She was born September 4, 1942 in Libertyville, Illinois, the daughter of Vincent and Shirley Ann Parker Lynford. She married Richard Cook on March 10, 1960 at Waukegan, Illinois and was a homemaker. Sharon lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 2000 moving from Carol Stream, Illinois. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, needlework and crocheting.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Richard Cook of Mountain Home, AR; 1 son, Richard (Martina) Cook, Jr. of Libertyville, IL; 2 daughters, Laura (Wayne) Westman of St. Charles, IL and Vicki (Adrian) Alvarez of Huntley, IL; 1 brother, Donald (Susan) Lynford of Punta Gorda, FL; 2 sisters, Roberta (Mike) Heinz of Des Plaines, IL and Barbara Staton of Lake Barrington, IL; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sheryl D. Cook-Kimbrell and her brother, Richard "Dickie" Lynford.
