Sharon DeNoe

Sharon Kay DeNoe, 81, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Sharon was born on August 24, 1941, in Gassville, Arkansas, to Eugene "Jerry" and Faye Perry Medley. She went to grammar school in Gassville, Arkansas. In 1954 the family moved to Florida, where she graduated from the Edgewater High School in Orlando, Florida, in 1960. She began her working career as a telephone operator in Orlando. She married Ronald DeNoe on June 29, 1963 in Orlando, Florida. In 1972, Sharon and Ronald moved back to Arkansas, where she went to work for Baxter Lab and later Walmart. After 20 years with Walmart, she retired in 2007. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Sharon was best known for her sweetness and kindness. Family was everything to Sharon.

Sharon is survived by two daughters, Marsha (DeNoe) Sloan and husband Melton of Walnut Ridge, and Melanie (DeNoe) Britt and husband Wade of Mountain Home; and a son, Mitchell DeNoe and wife Jeanette of Gassville; She was blessed with 6 grandchildren, Becky (Luke) Peppers, Ben (Sarena) Tucker, Katie (Heath) Niedermeier, Ethan (Brittany) Britt, Jerrad (Lex) Britt, and Jesse Buckley;14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson with another on the way.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Betty Jean Bellah.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Minister Jeff Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Gassville Cemetery, in Gassville, Arkansas, with Mitchell DeNoe, Ben Tucker, Ethan Britt, Jerrad Britt, Jesse Buckley, Luke Peppers, Melton Sloan, and Wade Britt as pallbearers.
