Sharon Munkvold

Sharon Munkvold died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 71. Sharon Munkvold was born Thursday, September 3, 1936 in Berwyn, Illinois, daughter of Emery Marsh and Helen Walker. She married Donald Munkvold on August 13, 1960 at Chicago, Illinois. She worked as a Purchasing Agent for an air conditioner distributorship. Sharon lived in Mountain Home for 8 years moving from Villa Park, Illinois. Frog Dolls she made, won Best of Show in the County Fair and she enjoyed many other crafts, sewing, embroidery and macrame. She also enjoyed sailing on Lake Michigan. Survivors: Sharon Munkvold is survived by her husband, Donald Munkvold and Son, Glenn (Jill) Munkvold of Fairfield, Maine, Son, Gary (Theresa) Munkvold of Ames, Iowa, 2 grandchildren, Melissa and David Munkvold of Ames, Iowa, Sister, Joyce (Richard) Havemann of Elburn, Illinois, several nieces and nephews.
