Shirley Bodkin was born August 11, 1908 in Irasburg, Vermont. She was the daughter of George and Mary Locke. She married John Bodkin on April 14, 1934 in Evanston, Illinois. She resided in Evanston, Illinois until moving to Lakeview, Arkansas in 1974. Mrs. Bodkin was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and spending time with friends. She was also a member of the Presbyterian Church. Shirley L. Bodkin passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on February 3, 2005 at the age of 96 years, 5 months and 22 days.
