A Graveside Service for Shirley May Gillham of Springfield, Missouri, will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 22, 2018, at the Fairview Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Shirley passed away March 17, 2018, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 77. She was born May 16, 1940, in Niobrara, Nebraska, the daughter of Harley and Julia Pappan Anderson. Shirley was a member of the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska and a member of the National Mensa Organization. She was a talented artist and enjoyed reading novels and painting portraits and animals. She was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church. She attended Shady Grove Elementary School and Mountain Home High School.

Shirley is survived by her five sons, Duane Kawakami of Kansas City, MO, Trent Kawakami of Kansas City, MO, Kyle Kawakami of Kansas City, MO, Kelly Miller of St. Petersburg, FL and Shawn Kawakami of Omaha, NE; two daughters, Christy Wooten of Norman, OK and Gwynn Kawakami of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; brother, Harley (Irene) Anderson, Jr. of Liberty, SC; sister, Elvera Kay Roten of Fort Myers, FL; sister, Joney Anderson of Middleburg, FL; brother, Allen Joe Anderson of Mountain Home, AR; and brother, Truman Lee Anderson of Mountain Home, AR.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
