Funeral Service for Shirley Hawkes of Mountain Home, AR, will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Nancy Taylor officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M., Sunday, December 20 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Shirley Hawkes died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 85. Shirley was born Wednesday, November 19, 1924 in Bermuda. She married James S. Hawkes and worked as a realtor for a mobile home company. Shirley Hawkes is survived by daughter, Roxanne Daugherty of Mountain Home, AR, son, Bill Hawkes of Flagstaff, AZ, 8 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, two brothers, Jim O'Connor and Reggie Roberts, sister, Deanna Perry, and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Hawkes, both parents, two brothers and one sister. Burial will be in Costa Mesa, California.
