Funeral Services for Shirley A Hill, 66, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the Chalybeate Valley landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Alpine, AR. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Kirby and Family Funeral Home Chapel. Shirley was born November 14, 1943 in New Edinburg, Arkansas, the daughter of Floyd M. and Nellie Underwood Harris. She married Claudius Hill on August 11, 1962 at Friendship, Arkansas. She worked as a LPN for various Hospitals in Southern Arkansas and enjoyed reading her bible and listening to Christian Music. Shirley was a member of the Wises Chapel Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Pineville, AR. Shirley is survived by 2 daughters, Renee (John) Watts of Mountain Home, AR and Vanessa Hill of PA; 2 sons, Scott Hill of Delaware and Michael Hill of Henderson, TX, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one brother, Carroll (Kathleen) Harris of Ft. Worth, TX and one sister, Iva Nell (Paul) Adams of Little Rock, AR and her online canasta partner, Kay Campbell She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons; Donnie and Karl Hill, 3 brothers, Marvin, Woody, and Larry Harris, and one sister, Juanita Gilliam. Burial will be in the Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wises Chapel LMBC. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
