Shirley Hurst

Shirley Ann Hurst was born June 10, 1940. She was the daughter of Charles and Rugh Sherfield. She moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas from Cobden, Illinois in 1987. Mrs. Hurst was a graduate of Harrisburg High School in Illinois. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, where she was actively involved with the prison ministry, women's ministry, nursing home ministry, and she sang in the choir. She enjoyed garage sales and making crafts. Shirley Ann Hurst entered into eternal rest on November 6, 2005 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 65 years, 4 months and 26 days. Survivors: Three sons, Eugene Hurst and wife Jeannette of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Richard Hayes and wife Margaret of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Roy Madison Hurst and wife Brenda of Salem, Arkansas; one daughter, Desiree Williams and husband Randy of Yellville, Arkansas; grandchildren,Robert, Kenneth, Richard, Luke, Jessica, Jason, Chad, Damian, Dalton, Amanda, DesJon, Tiger, Crystal; and great-grandchildren,Kyle, AaLiahya, Marisa Preceded in Death by: Her parents; husband; brother, Jerry Sherfield and one granddaughter, Shannon Visitation: 11:00 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, November 8 Funeral: 2:30 p.m.; Tuesday, November 8, 2005; First Assembly of God Church with Reverend Mike Howell officiating Burial: Baxter Memorial Gardens in Mountain Home, Arkansas Memorials: For the family Active Bearers: Rich Hayes, Eugene Hurst, Roy Madison Hurst, Kenneth Hurst, Robert Hurst, and Richard Hayes
