Shirley Polzien

Shirley Polzien was born September 13, 1928 at Iowa City, Iowa to Joseph and Gladys Haney Murphy. She married the late Norman Polzien on April 27, 1972 in Cambridge, Illinois and moved to Mountain Home in 1983 from Grundy Center, Iowa. Mrs. Polzien died Monday, July 20, 2004 in Virginia at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 7 days. Survivors: Mrs. Polzien is survived by 5 sons, Warren Gerard and Gregory Gerard of Prince George, Va., Anthony Gerard of Nelson, NE, David Gerard of Ceder Rapids, Iowa and Joe Gerard of Tipton, Iowa; 3 daughters, Rosene Worrell of West Branch, Iowa and Lisa Gerard and Veronica Crowley of Tipton, Iowa; 4 brothers: Richard, George, Mike and Dennis Murphey and 2 sisters:Mary Goarsch and Janet Murphey and 20 grandchildren 4 Great grandchildren and long time friend, Milton Sills. Preceded in Death by: She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Norman; daughter Â? Roxene Gerard.
