Sigrid Kahle

Sigrid Kahle died Sunday, December 23, 2007 at Hospice House at the age of 95. Sigrid Kahle was born Thursday, August 29, 1912 in Somerville, Massachusetts to Nils and Linnea Perrson Vensberg . She married Earl F. Kahle on October 3, 1936 at Rivergrove, Illinois and worked as an Office Manager for Lake Forest Pediatrics for 20 years. Sigrid lived in Lakeview for 36 years moving from Libertyville, Illinois. She was a member of the Bridge Club, Square and Round Dancers' Clubs, a volunteer at the food pantry and Bull Shoals Library. She enjoyed playing golf, knitting, and needlepoint. She served as an elder at the Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church. She was loved by all who knew her. Survivors: 2 sons, Jerold ( Caroline) Kahle of Orange Park, FL and James (Flora) Kahle of Coral Springs, FL; 1 daughter, Judith (Paul) Quian of Newton, MA; 7 grandchildren, Eric, Troy, Jorge, Gerald, Christopher, Finn and Jennifer; 2 sisters, Linnea Kossack of River Grove, IL and Mickey Sauter of Park Ridge, IL; several great- great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
