Sophia Coughlin

Sophia Coughlin died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 90. She was born Saturday, December 8, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Carrie Maritz Collier. She married Burt Coughlin at Chicago, Illinois and worked as a restaurant cashier. Sophia lived in Mountain Home since1999 moving from Oaklawn, Illinois. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed painting and gardening. Survivors: 2 daughters, Judy Coughlin of Lake Tahoe, NV and Donna Campagna of Morgan Hill, CA, sister, June Arnold of Mountain Home, AR, grandson, Derek Campagna of Morgan Hill, CA, and special friend, Sharon Johnson of Midway, AR. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Visitation: Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time. Funeral: Funeral services for Sophia Coughlin of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Father James Fanrak officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the North Central Arkansas Humane Society.
