Stacy Beavers

Funeral services for Stacy Paul Beavers of Lakeview, Arkansas, will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 7, 2010 at Spring Creek Methodist Church, with Reverend Donnie Speaks officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the Church. Stacy died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at his residence at the age of 40. He was born April 16, 1970 in Independence, MO, the son of Paul Beavers and Sharon Dillard Nordstrom. He married Phyllis Jackson December 30, 1992 at Galveston, Texas. He worked as a Rodeo Assistant and was a U.S. Army veteran. Stacy lived in the Calico Rock area most of his life. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, loved the outdoors, horseback riding and the rodeo. Stacy is survived by his parents, wife, Phyllis, 4 children, Marisha Patterson, Elizabeth Beavers, Devon Patterson and Chance Beavers all of TX; 1 sister, Elizabeth Cox of Calico Rock, AR, 1 step-sister, Dawn Miller of Kansas City, MO; maternal grandmother, Helen Dillard of Calico Rock, AR; step-father, Floyd Hale of Calico Rock, AR and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Rita Beavers, daughter, Skylar, paternal grandparents, Claude and Volta Beavers and maternal grandfather, Thurl James Dillard. Burial will be in the Spring Creek Cemetery with Chris Sanders, Kendal Cobb, Tate Cobb, Jonthan Bear, Cody Stacy and Ronnie Gardner as pallbearers. Tommy Rand, Dusty Wheeler, Brian Ritcheson, Danny Richardson, Kelt Cox and Payton Cox will be honorary pallbearers and Eric Simms and Mark Bailey will be horsemen. Contributions to the family may be made to the First National Bank of Izard County, Calico Rock. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
