Stanley Otto Johnson, 101, of Mountain Home, AR, passed away March 14, 2015, in Lake Geneva, WI. Graveside services will be held at Irving Park Cemetery in Chicago, IL. Stanley will be laid to rest next to his first wife of 39 years, Irma Bloch Johnson.
Stanley was born August 30, 1913, in Chicago, IL to Carl Oscar and Ida Christina Johnson. He was one of nine children. Stanley was a machinist for Tempel Steel Co in Chicago and moved to Mountain Home in 1979 where he built his home and enjoyed gardening, boating, fishing, woodcarving & stamp collecting.
Stanley is survived by three daughters, Joyce Cogil of Lakeview, AR, Carol (Erwin) Kalweit of Lake Geneva, WI and Colleen (Monte) Tobin of Venice, Fl; six grandchildren, Bob Kalweit, Jim Kalweit, Kevin (Krysty) Kalweit, Tina (Brian) Behrens, Cindy Cogil (Oliver Baumann), and Kathy (Denny) Svejda and seven great-grandchildren, Max, Cole and Paige Behrens, Connor and Caden Kalweit and Sasha and Nikolai Baumann. He was preceded in death by his parents; eight sibling and wives, Irma Bloch Johnson and Ella Bayer Johnson (married for 33 years).
