Stanley Kopriva

Stanley R. Kopriva was born July 17, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of Rudolph and Veronica Oleksy Kopriva. He married Dorothea Kozak on November 15, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a printer, employed with Lion Match forty-two years. Mr. Kopriva moved to Mountain Home, Arkansa from Chicago, Illinois in 1995. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, loved kids, and enjoyed sports, especially hockey, because he was an avid ice skater. He was a former scout leader and member of the Catholic Church. Stanley R. Kopriva passed away at Good Samaritan Village October 9, 2005, at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 26 days. Survivors: Wife of forty-seven years, Dorothea Kopriva of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one son, George (Janice) Kopriva of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two brothers, Rudolph Kopriva of Brandon, Florida and Anthony Petraitis of Midlothian, Virginia; one sister, Teresa Feddor of Chicago, Illinois; two grandchildren, Crystal Jean Kopriva and George Anthony Kopriva, Jr.; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2005 Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Paul Poulousky officiating Burial: Private Memorials: Hospice of the Ozarks, 701 Burnett Drive, Mountain Home, AR 72653
