Graveside Military Honors for Stanley Frank Novak of Mountain Home, AR, will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with the Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Monday, October 19 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Stanley died Friday, October 16, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 87. Stanley was born September 26, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois, son of Frank Joseph and Anna Novak. He was married to Dolores Novak. He worked as a mechanic and police officer for Berwyn Illinois, Police Department. Stanley lived in Mountain Home since 1972, moving from Berwyn, Illinois. Stanley was a veteran of WWII. He was a life member of Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 and a member of the American Legion Post #52.
Stanley is survived by his brother-in-law, Frank Byczek of Rogers, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Novak, son Wayne, and his parents.
Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
