A Memorial Service for Stephen J. Grycell of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, August 5, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Bob Crawford officiating. Military Honors will be by the Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 Honor Guard.

Stephen passed away July 29, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 64. He was born October 25, 1948, in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of Steven and Margaret Fraser Grycell. He married Sharon Schumaker on December 23, 1976, at Sarasota, Florida and was a U.S. Marines veteran of the Vietnam War. He was devoted to the Marines. Stephen lived in Mountain Home for seven years, moving from Titusville, Florida. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Sharon Grycell of Mountain Home, AR; son, Jamie Grycell of Alabama; sister, Cheryl Grycell of Nashua, NH; mother-in-law, Dorothy Shumaker of Mountain Home; step-sister, Carol Esposito; sister-in-law, Debra (Danny) Collins; nephew, Chris (Brittany) Collins and great-niece, Bailey Collins

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to North Central Humane Society or Disabled American Veterans.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
