Sterling L. Triplett was born April 10, 1939 in Knobel, Arkansas. He was the son of Lester and Lela Alphin Triplett. He married Dewanda Murdoch on September 21, 1958 in Knobel, Arkansas. He was a truck driver and a diesel mechanic. He lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since he moved to the area from Indiana in 1995. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and sports, especially basketball and baseball. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. Sterling L. Triplett passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center, December 7, 2005, at the age of 66 years, 7 months and 21 days. Survivors: His wife of forty-seven years, Dewanda Triplett of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two sons, Bruce (Judy) Triplett of Albany, Indiana and Danny (Amy) Triplett of Muncie, Indiana; two daughters, Angelia (Brian) Bender of Azle, Texas, and Tina Triplett of Fort Worth, Texas; six grandchildren, Aaron Triplett, Shauna (Ryan) Riggin, Ryan Cain, Brandon Bender, Lindsay Bender, and Ashlee Triplett; great-grandson, Gavin Cain; two sisters, Norma Lee Boyd of Knobel, Arkansas and Diane Brown of Brookston, Indiana; several nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law, Euna Mae Murdoch, of Knobel, Arkansas Preceded in Death by: His parents Visitation: 1:00 p.m. until service time, Saturday, December 10 Funeral: 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2005, First Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Travis Alexander officiating.
