Steve Semro

Steve C. Semro of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, passed away June 21, 2023, at his home in Bull Shoals, Arkansas at the age of 93. He was born February 28, 1930, in Tiedtville, Illinois, the son of Steve and Dorothy Renner Semro. He married Kay Howard on November 17, 2000, in Eureka Springs, AR. Steve worked his entire career as a maintenance welder for General Motors. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and both he and Kay were active in the DAV. The two enjoyed the Senior Bowling League and participated in the Senior Bowling Olympics.

Steve is survived by his daughters, Deborah Mikota of Lakeview, AR, Dawn Semro of Alton, MO and step-daughter Debbie Pirrucello of Gurnee, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Betty Semro and second wife, Kay Ann Semro.

All are invited to celebrate his life with a Memorial Service at 11AM July 17, 2023 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR. Military honors will be provided by Hoevel-Barnett Post 1341 VFW and the United States Army Honor Guards. Burial will be in Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Illinois.
