Steven David Allen

A Funeral Service for Steven David Allen of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Friday, August 31, 2018, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home, with Jim Loitz officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, August 30, 2018, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.

Steve passed away August 22, 2018, in Calico Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 48. He was born September 25, 1969, in Vivian, Louisiana, the son of John and Patty Robertson Allen. Steve was raised and graduated in Mountain Home. He was a truck driver. Steve lived most of his life in Mountain Home, with a brief time in Springfield, Missouri. He was an employee of the Mountain Home School District. He enjoyed sports, kayaking, and cooking. He loved to watch NASCAR, the Razorbacks, and Cardinals.

Steve is survived by his mother, Patty Allen of Mountain Home, AR; brother, Lance Allen of Fairbanks, AK; sister, Becky (Steve) Pfisterer of Des Plaines, IL; two nephews, Owen & Beau Pfisterer; several aunts and uncles, including Janet Beckman of Mountain Home, AR, Carol (Jim) Loitz of Mountain Home, AR, and Donna (Joe) Iris of Mountain Home, AR; girlfriend, Neka Parker of Mountain Home, AR; and a host of extended family, including aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Allen; step-father, Carroll Allen; and his grandparents.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
