Bull Shoals

The 68-year tree of life for Susan M Holstein of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, expired on December 12, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 68. She was born in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Murph Cameron and Judy Chickadaunce. Susan’s life took her across the country, from her birth in Wisconsin, she lived and grew up in Indiana, moved to Arizona, returned to Indiana and then found love and peace in Arkansas.

She may have seemed fearless, yet she needed to be pushed to know that you "CAN DO IT" sometimes. Finding it not as frightful as she thought, it just added to stimulating the growth of her loving. Always hilarious, but could be quirky and very smart as she had an artistic woman's intuition that she shared with those that knew her in her own loving way. Sue tended to loved parties, bonfires and of course, beer. Always seeking attention and finding new friends with which to share new bonds and memories. She may have took after her mother with her teaching ways but always with so much love at heart. To those who were fortunate to know her, I wish you all a lil' flutter of her angel wings when you find yourself needing comfort or guidance. "Smile Y'all, Share the Luv Ya's"

Susan is survived by her husband, Charles Holstein of Bull Shoals, AR; daughter, Galadriel of Pennsylvania; son, Jack of Arizona; six grandchildren, Heather, Dominick, Austin, Megan, James and Samuel; five great-grandchildren, Kaylynn, Alexander, Jayden, Zachary and Olyver; Brothers, Larry (Renee) Cameron of Michigan, Daniel (Becky) Curcuro of Texas and Brian (Maria) Curcuro of Arizona. She was blessed to be the eldest of the Chickadaunce younger generation where she found love and support from all the nieces and nephews and from her cousins, Judy, Kimmie, Peggy, Paula, Jeff etc... Special mention to her Aunt Cynthia and husband Stephen from Arizona who were Susan's trusted confidants from the Cameron family, her Aunt Barb from Missouri that gave her comfort and guidance in how to deal with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her stepmother, Marilyn from Florida who loved her to the core. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Susan's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation.
