Susan J. Lindenmeyer, 74, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, in Midway, Arkansas. Susan was born on June 15, 1949, in Ottawa, Illinois, to Homer "Jack" and Joan Stone Reece. She graduated from high school and went to nursing college in Texas. She began working as a nurse's aid at the Peru Hospital in Peru, Illinois. She married Terry Lindenmeyer on March 3, 1990 in Peru, Illinois. She established, owned, and operated Graphics Plus, a computer repair business. Susan has been ill and bed-ridden for the past 13 years. During that time, she has been loved and cared about by all who knew and cared for her. She was a very special God loving person. Among things Susie enjoyed was her crafting, sewing, and artwork. She also enjoyed working on computers and was always trying to educate herself more on computer technology. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bull Shoals.
Susan is survived by her husband, Terry Lindenmeyer of Midway, AR; two daughters, Lisa Alleman and Julie (Steve) Milota; two step-children, Wendy (Bob) Semyck and Chad (Cyndi) Lindenmeyer; sister, Diane (Wayne) Zera; sister-in-law, Thea Kok; eleven grandchildren, one great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Donald Ward; and two brothers, John and Ronald Reece.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Mountain Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 9:00 am at First Baptist Church in Bull Shoals, with Brother Jon Norvell and Brother Jerry Backus officiating. Burial will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorial donations may be made in Susan's name to Ozark Community Home, 201 Dodd Street, Mountain Home, AR 72653, or Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
