Suzanne Ellen Boehm passed peacefully in Mountain Home to her heavenly home January 14, 2025, at the age of 81. She was getting ready for work at FMB Wellness Center & Day Spa to help her clients, something that always fulfilled her and gave her joy.
Suzanne’s life started out uncertain and unstable, being placed in an orphanage at the age of 6 months old, and moving from family to family 15 times before graduating from high school. While working in Hawaii she obtained her private and commercial pilot’s license and married her husband, Ed whose business took them to Europe, where she was introduced to the world of skin care and aesthetics. She was trained by some of the most experienced and influential aestheticians and spa owners in Europe, and opened her own thriving spa in Belgium in her twenties.
Suzanne was not only a business woman but an accomplished and award winner in archery and dressage. She was the designer of a line of clothing inspired by her near-death experience called Galactic Dream Wear. The scarves and ‘Dreamcoats expressed beauty in multi-colored silks and velvets. Her other talents were designing fine jewelry of gold, diamonds and precious stones. We have had the pleasure of seeing her wear some of her pieces.
Suzanne lived an incredible life, full of travel, excitement and intrigue. She is a published author, with her book “Beyond the Tunnel” telling the incredible and inspiring story of her near-death experience in a dentist chair.
Suzanne faced many substantial challenges in her life, but met them head on and re-built her life out of the ashes of adversity. Her passion was helping people look and feel their best and educating them on skin care maintenance and the positive principles and insights she received during her encounter and life.
Suzanne will be missed tremendously by her many friends she leaves behind, but we have no doubt where she is and we shall see her again one glorious day.
It is her friend’s desire that you wear “glitter and glitz” in honor of Suzanne’s always present bling! She loved wearing it, and we will too on her Celebration of Life Day!
