On May 11, 2024, the world lost a beloved soul with the passing of Sylvia Adler in Gassville, Arkansas. Sylvia was a dedicated homemaker whose life revolved around creating beautiful memories with her family.
Sylvia, born on October 31, 1926, in Spencer, Wisconsin, was the loving daughter of Ira and Ina Meacham. She was united in marriage to Alexander Adler and together they raised their children with loving care. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alexander; son, Gary Scott Adler; brothers, LeRoy Meacham and Darrel Meacham; and sister, Muriel McReynold.
Despite our profound loss, Sylvia's legacy lives on through her surviving family members. She is remembered fondly by her sons, Richard (Kathy) Adler of McHenry, IL, and David (Leigh) Adler of McHenry, IL; and daughter, Patricia Raines of Gassville, AR. Sylvia also leaves behind six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory forever.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Sylvia Adler will be held in the Open-Air Chapel at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum in Gassville, Arkansas on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
Sylvia will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and the joy she brought to those around her through simple moments spent together. Her kind spirit and selfless nature have left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
