Sylvia Glenn

Sylvia Jane Glenn was born March 19, 1945 at Valley Falls, Kansas to James Alfred and Sophia Ann Best Evans. She graduated from the Washburn University in Topeka Kansas with a Masters Degree in Nursing and BA degree in Journalism. She married Calvin Glenn on February 17, 1987 at Topeka. They moved to Mountain Home on May 31, 2000 from Topeka where She died on September 22, 2006 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 61 years,6 months and 3 days. Survivors: Husband, Calvin Glenn of Mountain Home, two daughters; Susan (Scott) Hodge of Topeka, Kansas and Sarah (Craig) Bennett of Lebanon, New Hampshire, Five stepchildren; Cindy (Mike) Applehanz of Topeka, John C. (Laurie) Glenn of Inman, Kansas, William D. (Patricia) Glenn of Augusta, Georgia, Annie Glenn and Linda A. Jett both of Ordway, Colorado,14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Four brothers; John T. Marsha) Evans and Timothy Paul Evans both of Topeka, David F. (Paula) Evans of Tecumseh, Kansas. Four sisters; Susan Janak of Las Vegas, Nevada, Rita Duran and Mary Ashley both of Mountain Home and Kathy (Lee) Huber of Clarksville, Tennessee. Preceded in Death by: Parents, one daughter; Mary Kathleen Durow, one brother and 3 sisters. Burial: Private Memorials: Charity of Choice
