Sylvia O'Reilly

Mrs. O'Reilly died Friday, February 13, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 97. Sylvia was born Friday, October 27, 1911 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of Anthony and Mary (Paulauskas) Bielskis. She married Thomas William O'Reilly on November 18, 1950 at Chicago, Illinois. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed painting and writing. Sylvia lived in Mountain Home for 29 years, moving from Park Ridge, Illinois. She was a former active member of the Mountain Home Poetry Club. Survivors: Sylvia O'Reilly is survived by a son, Theodore (Cheryl) Prieskop, Jr. of Mountain Home, AR; daughters Dolores Hogan of Worth, IL, and Gloria (Ron) Kalke of Mountain Home, AR; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas William O'Reilly; parents; 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. Funeral: A Funeral Mass for Sylvia M. O'Reilly of Mountain Home, AR, will be 11:00 am Monday February 16, 2009 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, with Reverend James Fanrak officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas . Memorials: Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or Care Manor Nursing Home. Active Bearers: Roger Gonzagowski, Dale Lakin, Robert Lammers, George Murphy, James Neff and William Bulow as pallbearers.
