Tammy Harolene Newman, age 66, of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away on October 15, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Born on January 6, 1958, in Long Beach, California, she was the beloved daughter of Arthur and Eleanor Casey Klug.
Tammy married the love of her life, Jason Newman, on June 29, 1985, in Bull Shoals, Arkansas. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and creativity, often collaborating on their shared passion for crafting birdhouses. Tammy worked as a sewer for Ranger Boats and Dean's Top and Canvas, where her dedication and skill shone brightly. Known for her warmth and friendliness, she had an uncanny ability to connect with people and never met a stranger.
Tammy is survived by her devoted husband, Jason Newman; her daughters, Casey Klug of Flippin, AR, and Brandy Conley of Florida; her sons, Jason Newman Jr. of Arizona and Christopher Newman of Illinois; her sister, Joyce Kirkland of Missouri; five cherished grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever hold her memory close. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Eugene Johnston.
A Gathering of Friends to celebrate Tammy's life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 11 AM-1PM at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
Tammy’s kindness, creativity, and zest for life will be deeply missed but will continue to inspire all who knew her.
