A Gathering of Friends for Thea Elza Jesmantas of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be from 1:00 until 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 14, 2018, at her home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, Mountain Home, AR.
Thea passed away April 10, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 91. She was born December 14, 1926, in Frankfurt, Germany, the daughter of Gustaf and Margaret Fischer. She married Al Jesmantas on March 17, 1956, in Germany and worked as a Electronic Tester for Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent. Thea lived in Mountain Home since 1987, moving from Chicago, Illinois. She enjoyed crocheting, arranging flowers and enjoyed playing bingo with her friends.
Thea is survived by her husband, Al Jesmantas of Mountain Home, AR; brother, Gerhardt Fischer, of Germany; friend, Nancy Robey; and her caregivers, Ann and Starryll Stradford, Karen Hickerson, Debra Edwards, and Angela Marin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.
Burial will be at a later date in Germany.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
