. Thelma Leona Cooper was born February 8, 1913 daughter to Ralph and Ida Thompson Settles at Rushville, Illlinois. She married Howard P. Cooper on July 27, 1932 at Virginia, Illinois. She was a homemaker and was Methodist by faith. Mrs. Cooper lived in the Mountain Home area since 1979 having moved from Rockford, Illinois. She passed away o9n October 31, 2004 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 91 years, 8 months and 23 days. Survivors: her son Jim Cooper of Rockford, Illinois, 2 daughters Howardene Leathers of Hartwell, Georgia and Shirley Cooper (Carl Richard Foster) Braugh of Mountain Home, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grand children and a daughter-in-law Bonnie Cooper of Mountain Home, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: her parents Ralph and Ida Settles, husband Howard Cooper, 2 brothers Wayne and Guilden Settles, 1 son Bob Cooper, 2 great grandsons Scott and Timothy, 1 daughter-in-law Holly Cooper . Visitation: Wednesday from 10:00 Â?11:00 a.m. at the Chapel Funeral: Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Scott Newman officiating.
