Thelma Idstein

A Funeral for Thelma Gaye Idstein of Bull Shoals will be at 1:00 PM Friday August 21, 2009 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals with Brother Jerry Backus and Sister Karen Satterfield officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. until service time. Thelma died August 19, 2009 at her home. She was 64 years old. Thelma was born at Culp, Arkansas to Tilman and Minerva Wheat Lester. She married William Idstein, owner of Master Brake in Bull Shoals, May 14, 1993 at Mountain Home. Thelma was a nurse?s aide and worked for Northwest Area Council on Aging. She was a hard-headed Arkie and lifetime resident of the state. She loved her family and enjoyed fishing and camping. Thelma is survived by husband, William, daughter, Dara Bonds(Philip) of Bull Shoals, son, Scott Crawford of Mountain Home, AR, stepson, John Idstein(Shelley) of Crystal Lake, IL, 2 brothers Lloyd Lester of Calico Rock, AR and Curly Lester of Spokane, WA, three sisters, Oma Cartwright of Calico Rock, AR , Lillie West of Spokane, WA and Betty Brncic of Conway, AR, and four grandchildren, Justin Bonds, Amber Renee Melton, Carley Idstein, and Dillon Idstein. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
