A Graveside Service for Theodore "Ted" Garrett Anema of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, May 13, 2013, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
Ted passed away May 8, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 92. He was born August 8, 1920, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Garrett and Dora Boomsma Anema. He married Rosemarie on February 14, 1946, at Chicago, Illinois and worked as a pipefitter and machinist for Wrigley's Spearmint Gum Company. Ted lived in Mountain Home since 1984, moving from Palos Heights, Illinois. He enjoyed trains and model railroading and playing on the computer. He was mechanically inclined and loved working on cars and tinkering.
Theodore is survived by his wife of 67 years, Rosemarie Anema of Mountain Home, AR; son, Wayne (Peggy) Anema of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Diana Murphy of Gassville, AR; son, Brian (Sharon) Anema of Mountain Home, AR; grandchildren, John, Wayne Jr. and Aaron; three great-grandchildren, Matthew, William, and Lucas, and three sisters, Jeanette Mooi of Chicago, IL, June Smits of South Holland, IL, and Marlene Briggs of De Motte, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth Anema.
