A private memorial service and burial for Thomas Fischer, 63, of Clarkridge, Arkansas, will be at his family cemetery in Paris, AR. at a later date for his immediate family only.
Tom was born August 24, 1948, in Paris, AR , the son of William and Mildred Mosely Fischer . He married Bonnie Fredericks on November 9, 1996, at Colton, CA. After moving to AR he worked as Deputy Sheriff, CID, and Director of the office of emergency management for Baxter County and then as an investigator for the Department of Human Services . Tom was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of Vietnam and lived in Clarkridge, Arkansas since moving from Palm Desert, CA in 1999.
Tom is survived by his wife; Bonnie Fischer of Clarkridge, AR; his mother Millie Fischer of Cherokee, NC, 1 Son; Jonathan Fischer of Gary, IN, 4 daughters; Wendy (Jim) Mallas of Vail, CO, Kristy Thiel, Tiffany Fischer and Brandy Fischer all of Mandeville, LA. 5 grandchildren Austyn and Morgan Thiel, Peyton Fischer-Foti, Tristan and Logan Schneider, 2 brothers; Bill (Rita) Fischer of Austin, TX and Buddy (Jewel) Fischer of Cherokee, NC, 4 sisters; Judy (Leroy) Eschete of Desert Hot Springs, CA, Jerri (Bobby) Lowe of Abita Springs, LA, Janie (Marshal) Miller of Madisonville, LA and Jackie Fischer of Cherokee, NC and 2 step-sons; Jason and Eric Callahan of Little Rock, AR. His loss from their lives is immeasurable.
His father and two brothers; Kenny and Teddy preceded him to heaven.
Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Paris, AR.
Memorials may be made to the truly extraordinary people at the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
