Thomas passed away December 31, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 77. He was born July 5, 1937, in Marietta, Ohio, the son of David and Miriam Garrison Sauer. He married Lois Brooks on June 2, 1973, at Fairfield, Texas, and was a Presbyterian Minister. Thomas lived in Calico Rock since moving from Texas in 2005. He was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the Austin College, with a major in History. Tom continued his education at the Austin Theological Seminary School, where he received his Master's Degree.
Thomas is survived by his daughters, Kristin Briceno of Houston, TX, Tiffany Sauer of Calico Rock, AR, Lisa Sheppard of Houston, TX; son, David (April) Hobson of Richmond, TX; brothers, William (Pamela) Robertson of North Carolina, and Douglas Robertson of California; and sister, Kristin (Leo) Lusk of Southerlim, OR.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
