Timothy Dale Bland

A Celebration of Life for Timothy Dale Bland of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Monday, June 20, 2016, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Military Honors will be provided by the Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 and United States Air Force Honor Guards.

Tim passed away June 18, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 64. He was born January 25, 1952, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Tom and Lorna Ferguson Bland. He married his long-time friend of over 51 years, Lesllie Hough on February 14, 1998, at Mountain Home, Arkansas. Tim was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Tim lived in Mountain Home since moving from Evansdale, Iowa, in 1985. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, wood carving, and martial arts. He was a family man, jokster, and known around the house as "Mr. Fix-it".

Tim is survived by his wife, Lesllie Bland of Mountain Home, AR; two daughters, Celena Kennedy of Mountain Home, AR, and Tina (Scott) Beltz of Independence, IA; step-daughter, Sumer Kazlauskas of Illinois; two step-sons, Corey (Kelly) Sebetka of Jesup, IA, and Ryan Sebetka of Jesup, IA; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tony Bland; and grandson, Kyle Bland.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of North Arkansas.
