Timothy Alan Greve passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 69. He was the third son born to Ken and Faith Greve in Elgin, Illinois on March 11, 1955. At a young age the family moved to Orange, California, where many of his younger siblings were born. After high school Tim traveled around Europe landing in Israel where he worked on a kibbutz (farm) for a period of time.

Tim was athletic and played golf, water and snow skied, and participated in a men’s softball league for many years. He loved both dogs and cats and if they were lucky to have Tim as their pet parent, they would be the center of his world. Tim was fun, humorous, adventuristic and philosophical about life and relished lively conversations often tinged with humor. He enjoyed woodworking and made much of his own fine furniture for his home. His occupation was as a carpenter and later worked for his brother, Mike, in his business installing tile and wood flooring in custom homes. He retired to Arkansas to live with his brother, Kevin.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Faith Greve. He is survived by his aunts Virginia Greve Lossau, and Mary Ann Greve Lullie, along with his eleven siblings, Michael, Lawrence, Kevin, Christie (Gil Cano), Brian (Deniece), Terry, Bob (Julie), John, Melissa (Casey Moffit), Beth (Candido Lopez) and Eric (Ako) and 19 nieces and nephews.

The family will be gathering in remembrance of Tim in McHenry, IL on June 28, where we will reminisce on the many good times and family reunions.
