A Graveside Service for Toshiko Napier of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 9:00 am, Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Reverend Jimmie Snow officiating.
Toshiko passed away August 8, 2014, in Flippin, Arkansas at the age of 86. She was born December 26, 1927, in Tokyo, Japan, the daughter of Shigeyoshi and Kuni Umezawa Sekiguchi. She married Glen Napier on December 14, 1948, at Yokahoma, Japan and owned and operated Napier Farms and Baxter County Feed from 1967 to 2007. Toshiko lived in Mountain Home since 1967, moving from Fort Leonard Wood, MO. She was a local artist and won many awards for her paintings.
Toshiko is survived by her two sons, Don (Linda) Napier of Mountain Home, AR, and Ron (Roxanne) Napier of Austin, TX, daughter, Ellen (Dr. Bob) Ahrens of Flippin, AR, four grandchildren, Amos (Tracie) Ahrens, Sacha Garris, Amy Napier, Julia Napier, five great-grandchild, Jackson Ahrens, Zachary Ahrens, Miles Ahrens, Eva Garris, and Isaac Garris.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR.
