Troy Lansdown

A Memorial Service for Troy L. Lansdown, 60, of Calico Rock, Arkansas, will be 2:30 pm, Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Pleasant Valley Community Church, with Monte Neal and Gail Wooten officiating. Troy passed away March 25, 2012, at his home. He was born March 12, 1952, in Gainesville, MO, the son of William and Biddie Snider Lansdown. He married Carolyn Dillard Dickerson on February 28, 1995 at Jordan, AR. Troy had a workshop where he did small engine repairs. He was a hard working, loving man who would do anything for anyone. He loved the outdoors where you would always find him working in the yard, hunting or fishing. He loved it all. Most of all he loved his family and shared every minute he could with them. He loved visiting with his friends and making new ones. He was just a loving comical character. Troy is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lansdown; 2 daughters; Cara (Cain) Foster of Calico Rock, AR, Carlene (Joe) Jones of Jordan, AR; son; Cody Dickerson of Springdale, AR; 5 grandchildren; Cambree and Coty Foster, Cesha Causbie, Cayla and Cory McGowan; 5 great grandchildren, one sister; Anna Bell Lansdown of Springfield, MO; 3 brothers; Coy, George, and Carl Lansdown of Gainesville, MO; a special nephew; William (Teresa) Lansdown of Gainesville, MO; a special friend; Harold Swindle, and his best friend Luther Pittman. He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers and one sister. Memorials may be made to family.
