A Memorial Service for Tsugiko Egami, 84, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 1:00 pm, Monday, March 7, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Tsugiko passed away March 3, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born August 19, 1931, in Hamamatsu City, Japan, the daughter of Matsuo and Etsu Uchida Nakamura. She was an accountant at Honda and Yamaha and later was an award-winning insurance sales representative. Tsugiko lived in Mountain Home since 2011, moving from Hamamatsu City, Japan. She enjoyed riding in the car with Yuko, Chinese food, watching Japanese TV, and in her earlier years, playing the Japanese instrument, Koto.
Tsugiko is survived by her daughter, Yuko Book and her husband, David of Mountain Home, AR; son, Hideki Egami and his wife,Takae of Hamamatsu City, Japan and four grandsons, Yudai, Tomohiro and Naohiro Egami and Jonathan Book.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
