Twila M. Leuty was born Sunday, March 11, 1923 in Annawan, Illinois, the daughter of Verner S. Baker and Mable Perry. She married Floyd B. Leuty on November 25, 1948 at Topeka, Kansas. She worked as an Optical Technician and lived in Mountain Home for 18 years moving from Mathews, Virginia. She was an artist, loved to paint, and a member of the area art club. Twila M. Leuty entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at Hospice of the Ozarks, Hospice House at the age of 84 years, 9 months and 1day. Survivors: Twila Leuty is survived by:Sister-in-law, Dolores Baker of Lakeview, AR, 3 Nieces, Candice (Jerry) Johnsen of West Plains, MO, Debbie Baker of Glendale, AZ and Sharon (Wesley) Baker, 2 Nephews, Jeff Baker of Mountain Home, AR and Jim (Penny) Baker of Pomona, MO Preceded in Death by: Preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother and 1 nephew. Visitation: Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 P.M. Sunday December 16, 2007 at the Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 16, 2007 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas.
