Van Jay Hutson of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, passed away September 20, 2020, in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 71. He was born March 30, 1949, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, the son of Theodore and Edna Reed Hutson. Van married Marsha K. D'Ambrose on April 6, 1984, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He owned a roofing company and was a river fishing guide in the Twin Lakes area for many years before retirement.
Van was a U.S.Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Van was a lifetime resident of the Twin Lakes Area. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, archery and skeet-shooting. He also enjoyed cooking and barbecuing.
Van is survived by his daughter, Nicci Northcutt of McKinney, TX; son, Tommy Hutson of Bull Shoals, AR and his grandchildren, Drystan Hutson, Lauren Northcutt and Gentry Northcutt. In addition, his friends and neighbors in and around the Twin Lakes area.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Burial will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
