Vaughn Pierson

Funeral Services for Vaughn Pierson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Fairview Baptist Church in Violet Hill, Arkansas, with Reverend Randy Bailey officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM service time at the church. Vaughn passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Alteimer, Arkansas at the age of 68. Vaughn was born January 25, 1943 in Franklin, Arkansas, the son of Autis Ethridge and Lue Anna Herron Pierson. He married Beth Engle on September 11, 2010. He worked as a supervisor for the Arkansas Department of Highway & Transportation. Vaughn lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas for many years. He graduated with a degree in agriculture and enjoyed boating and working on his truck. Vaughn is survived by his wife, Beth; 2 brothers, Drexel (Freda) Pierson of Cabot, AR and Willard (Inez) Pierson of Wichita, KS and sister, Barb (Carl) Gillihan of Donna, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clayburn Pierson. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery with Don Norris, Alex Hester, Brian Hayes, Danny Bradford, Dustin Hall, Mickey Satterwhite and Robert Jackson as pallbearers.
