Graveside Services for Venita Nellie Minge of Gamaliel, Arkansas, will be 3:00 PM Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Bean Cemetery in Gamaliel with Brother Jimmie Whitfield officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Venita N. Minge, the daughter of the late James Calvin and Edna Chestnut Neal, was born October 9, 1922 at Byron, Arkansas. She passed away May 24, 2011 at age 88.
On January 17, 1942, she was married at Viola, Arkansas to Troy Minge, who preceded her in death on April 16, 1997.
Mrs. Minge is survived by her sister, Bonnie Bowers of West Plains, MO; her four children, James Minge of Gamaliel, AR, Roger Minge and his wife, Harriet of Mountain Home, AR, Don Minge and his wife Milly of Gamaliel, AR and Vivian Minge Anderson and her husband, Ray of Sparks, NV. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Lance Minge and his wife Angela of Cabot, AR, Leah Minge Guthrie and her husband Garet of Dallas, TX, Diane Minge of Springfield, MO and Vicky Minge Quinn of Lee's Summit, MO, Keith Anderson and his wife Erin of Sparks, NV, Patrick Anderson and his wife Jacie of Anchorage, AK and Rachel Anderson of Sparks, NV. Her surviving great-grandchildren are twins Katie and Kelli Minge of Cabot, AR, Dustin and Clayton Miller of Springfield, MO, Gracie Quinn of Lee's Summit, MO and Abbay, Merryn, and Beckett Anderson of Sparks, NV. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 3 brothers, Harold, Lindle and Vernon Neal and one granddaughter, Shelley Minge.
