Vernon passed away December 29, 2015, in Norfork, Arkansas at the age of 85. He was born February 25, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Harry and Alma Burmiester Potts. He married Alice Litton on February 28, 1987, in Baxter County and worked as an Electrician for The Olin Corporation. Vernon lived in Norfork since 1986, moving from Florida. He was a member of the Curfew Lodge #73 F&AM.
Vernon is survived by his two sons, Edward (Julia) Potts of Norfork, AR and Alan (Brenda) Potts of Killeen, TX; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
