Funeral Services for Veta Fritts of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, January 21, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Richard Crawford officiating. Visitation will be from Noon, until service time. Veta passed away January 10, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 90. She was born February 12, 1922, in Tennessee, the daughter on J.N. and Dorothy Stalsworth Roach. She married Joseph H. Fritts on December 26, 1941, in Georgia and worked as a Librarian for St. Louis County Library. Veta lived in Oakland, Arkansas, and more recently in Mountain Home since moving from St. Louis, Missouri in 1984. Veta was known for her kindness, her appreciation for family and friends, and her love of the Ozarks and beautiful Bull Shoals Lake. Veta is survived by her two grandsons, Tyler Harp of Chapel Hill, NC and Chandler Harp of Fayetteville, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe and her, daughter Janice. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
