A Funeral Service for Vicki Sue Gardner of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm at the funeral home.
Vicki passed away October 23, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 64. She was born September 18, 1953, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the second of 11 children, to Otis and Josephine McBride Johnson. She married Sammy Gardner on October 26, 2004, in DeWitt, Arkansas and worked as a cook and waitress. Vicki lived in Mountain Home since 1991, moving from Salina, Kansas. She enjoyed telling stories and loved Elvis and her cats.
Vicki is survived by her husband, Sammy Gardner of Mountain Home, AR; four children, Shawn Crabtree of Oakland, AR, Dawn Fenters of Kansas, Fred Jonte of Mountain Home, AR and Shannon Jonte of Kansas; several of her brothers and sisters and many grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several of her siblings.
Memorials may be made to the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas, 14215 Highway 5 South, PO Box 128, Norfork, AR 72658, www.foodbanknca.org .
