Vicki J. Pitchford

Vicki Jo Pitchford, 71, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at her home in Mountain Home, AR. Vicki was born on April 26, 1952, in Sacramento, CA, to George and Josephine Popanz Visker. She graduated from Oakmont High School in 1970 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development at California State University, Chico. She married Richard Pitchford on June 14, 1975 in Roseville, CA. The couple lived in Mountain Home, AR since moving from Dixon, CA in 1989. Vicki started her career in accounting at Baxter Health, where she worked for 33 years. Vicki was best known for her quick-witted humor and thoughtfulness. She enjoyed to shop, decorate her home, and travel. Vicki especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Vicki is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard Pitchford of Mountain Home; son, Luke (Jessica) Pitchford of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Valerie Pitchford of Mountain Home, AR; brothers, Danny Visker of Moses Lake, WA and Larry Visker of Gassville, AR; and grandchildren, Logan Pitchford and Kaden Williams of Mountain Home, AR.

She is preceded in death by her mother.

A service will be held privately, with burial at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, in Mountain Home, AR. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life service tentatively scheduled for October 28th, location pending.

Memorial donations may be made in Vicki's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
